The unit is suitable for both gasoline and diesel generators. The standard unit controls gasoline engines. For use in diesel engines, it is selected through a bridge connection on the equipment. Manual control is via RUN and STOP buttons on the front panel. Remote control is via a negative input REMOTE START signal. When the engine is running, the unit monitors fault conditions and automatically shuts down the engine upon the occurrence of an alarm. Alarms are identified by a group of LEDs showing only the first occurrence. The MENU button selects the scrolling display parameter and allows entry into programming mode and LED test functions. The unit offers a set of digitally adjustable program parameters. All parameters are modified via push buttons on the front panel. The FUEL output is programmable for "Enable to Start" or "Enable to Stop" solenoids. The optional auxiliary output can be programmed for alarm, block, preheat or stop functions. The total engine operating hours are kept in a memory indelible that is not affected by power failures. The unit is designed to be mounted in front mounting boxes. Connections are made with 2 plugs and socket connectors. The unit is only available in the 12V version.
