All programs can be modified via front panel buttons and do not require an external drive. The last 100 faults are stored in the event log file." event log file. The event log includes not only date and time information, but also a comprehensive list of group parameters generated at the time the failure occurred. The WINDOWS-based RAINBOW program enables remote monitoring and control. The unit supports the MODBUS protocol enabling communication with PLCs and construction management systems. The MODBUS protocol is also supported through GSM and PSTN modems. The unit offers multiple language support. In position AUTOMATIC, DKG-309 monitors the NETWORK phases and controls the automatic transfer of loads, the starting, stopping and supervision and protection of the GENERATOR SET. It has configurable external logical inputs and outputs generating several operating possibilities or suit to various situations. If a fault condition occurs, the unit automatically stops the engine and indicates the source of the fault with the corresponding red lamp. Operation of the unit is controlled with the front panel The AUTO, OFF, TEST and TEST LOAD keys are its operating modes. Other keys select exposure, change programmable settings, turn off alarms and lamp levels. starting point, input and output configurations and operating sequences. Unauthorized people do not have access to the programming system. All programs can be modified using the front panel keys, and do not require an external drive. Fault conditions are considered in 2 categories as Warnings and Alarms. The measured values have separate and individual programming for warning and alarm and how to proceed in each situation. The DKG-309 has the function of visual or alarm warning for the Preventive Maintenance warning situation in addition to presenting Corrective Maintenance. A menu system will guide the user whether to download the new version. In AUTO mode only, the unit offers the ability to set a weekly operating schedule. The programmable parameters allow the GENERATOR SET to operate automatically only within defined periods of each working day. The built-in battery and real-time clock supported allows precise times for this and other programming that time is involved. The unit has 7 configurable digital inputs. Each input has the following programmable parameters: - Alarm type: programmed stop/warning/no alarm - When to take this reading: when starting the engine/always/never - Has engine stop: with locking/without locking - Contact type: Normal Open(NO)/Normally Closed(NC) - Signal Type: BAT+/BAT- Engine analog inputs are provided for following functions: - Coolant temperature - Oil pressure Analog inputs connect to sensor resistance units to provide precise and adjustable protection. The inputs have programmable sensor characteristics so that they are suitable for any type and model. The unit provides 6 relay outputs and 2 of them have programmable functions, selectable from a list. In addition to the GENERATOR SET control signals, some specific alarm information can trigger a relay contact. The occurrence of the following fault conditions will cause the engine to be stopped immediately: - Excessive speed - Low generator voltage - High engine temperature - Low oil pressure The DKG-309 provides programming options capable of tailoring this controller to your needs .
